In response to the information I had provided below about NEW HOLLAND, that I had no evidence it once was called the Diamond, I had an email from Tim Caswall attaching an image of a Demijohn clearly providing the name DIAMOND.  Mr Henry William Easter appears on both the 1901 and 1911 Census as a Beer retailer in New Holland.

Although Tim did not know anything about H.W. Easter, he did manage to find the following on the internet at this address:

Quote:

"... William then worked for H.W. Easter until he was conscripted into the Royal Engineers during the 1914-18 War. Easter was involved in several enterprises; Bakery, Public House, Farm and Brick works. William was involved with either the Farm or Brickworks or both..."

Well done Tim!

Anyone else out there with similar images about any of the pubs or breweries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
